A Weekend Disconnected

Well I spent 3 days away from Facebook and Twitter. I must say it was difficult but not debilitating. Starting at midnight last Thursday I decided to remove myself from cyberspace and not post anything on FB or Twitter. Friday morning came and it was ok. I didn't crave that online world as much as I thought I would. Come Friday night I did start to feel a little disconnected though. A few friends were wondering where I was and started texting me so by Friday night I was in full text mode. Going back and forth with a few select friends. Thanks to them for keeping me busy...lol. The rest of the weekend went by pretty uneventfully.

When Monday morning rolled around my self proclaimed exile from cyberspace had ended. I logged on to Twitter and had nothing to say. I haven't even looked at Facebook yet. Hmm. Life outside cyberspace. What a novel idea. So will I get back into the swing of things...probably. Will I get so caught up in all the drama of cyberspace...probably too. But at least I know I can step away and life will go on.

In other news...'Iolani started school today. Got up a little early this morning to get my daughter off to school. She's a Junior now. Wow, how time flies. 2 more years and she'll be off to college.

Annual Father Bray Game

Saturday was the annual Father Bray game. 'Iolani is one of the first bands to march. Ash is a co-section leader this year. For now she's the only pic on the field. The band looked and sounded good, even though they were short a few members. As for the football game, 'Iolani beat up on Kaiser 30-19. I didn't realize it that night but 'Iolani scored all their 30 points in the 2nd quarter with Kaiser rallying in the 4th with 19 against 'Iolani reserves.
