The Wiz
Ashley will be taking part in the school production of The Wiz. She'll be playing the flute and piccolo in the pit with the rest of the orchestra. Rehearsals started on January 3rd and the play will be at the end of February.

What A Great Start To The New Year
The New Year started with Lester stuck at Denver International Airport. He was supposed to be on his way to New Orleans to watch Hawaii play in the Sugar Bowl but his connecting flight got canceled because of crew issues. He ended up flying back to Reno and was able to watch the 2nd half of the game on the big screen at The Silver Legacy Casino.
While all that was happening, Iris and Ashley were flying home to Honolulu. They were greeted at home by a stuck lock. Yes they were locked out of the house. An emergency call to the locksmith and $136 later they were home.
In the meantime, Lester was stuck in Reno for another 2 days. Lester finally got home on the 3rd.
