Well Ashley had a busy weekend. Friday night she played in pep band for the Iolani Water Polo Team. They lost to Punahou 4-6. Saturday morning she attended Marissa's birthday party at Krazy Karaoke.
Saturday afternoon it was off to school for a photo shoot for marching band then off to Aloha Stadium. We took on #1 St Louis and boy was it a great game. First off we heard that UH beat Fresno St. in Fresno, in overtime. Wow! Then the football team played possibly the game of their short careers by holding of St Louis in a game that went down to the wire. What a game.
On Sunday, Ashley had to go to HYS rehearsal from 12 to 2 then off to marching band practice from 3 - 5.
Well about 5 weeks ago, our air conditioner finally gave out. We went over a month without a/c. While it was good on the pocketbook, the electricity bill for September was significantly lower than usual, it was a very difficult September to get through. You could barely stand the heat in the house during the day. Luckily we didn't have to endure too many days in the heat but even well into the evening it was still very uncomfortable. Well that all ended today. Yesterday and today, we had a new air conditioning system installed. More energy efficient and quieter, we're finally comfortable again. Later on this week we're having someone redo the front wall and repair the front sidewalk. I'll try to get some pictures of the before and after.
