Honolulu Youth Symphony

Well Ashley got her letter from HYS. She didn't make the cut. Hopefully this will motivate her to try harder next year. She didn't even want to try out in the beginning but since her friends were auditioning, she decided she would too. Now she just needs to concentrate on marching band.

Maui on the Superferry

Ok so we booked a day trip on July 4th to Maui on the Superferry about 3 weeks ago. Then last week they called us saying that the return trip from Maui was cancelled because they're doing an invitation only fireworks cruise. Well of course that was kind of upsetting that they screwed up our plans. But what they did offer was to let us reschedule our trip, invite us on this 4th of July fireworks cruise and give us 3 roundtrip vouchers for a future trip.

We ended up rescheduling for the following day, July 5th and decided to stay overnight and return the next morning. So we'll be going on the fireworks cruise. We are allowed to bring one guest each so I told Ashley she could have all three guest invites. She invited, Shelby, Richard and Kara.

QBL

Well after 5 games we are 0-5. Our best game was tonight. We matched up with FTC, the best team in the league and played them straight up. We lost by 2 points. It came down to them making 2 free throws with 2 seconds left in the game. We were unable to capitalize with 2 seconds left. A valiant try and we can come out of this game with a lot of positive feelings. Next challenge, T8DH/Pharmacy.
